This enhancement request is to add a confirmation screen or message when performing a restore back to the original location within BRMS.
Ideally this would be either when using the RSTLIBBRM/RSTOBJBRM commands when the RSTLIB parameter is set to *SAVLIB, but also when using the menus within WRKMEDIBRM in the ‘Restore Command Defaults', when the ‘Restore to Library' is specified as *SAVLIB. An inquiry type message would be generated that would state “You are restoring to the original location. Are you sure you want to continue?”, which would require a Y or N reply. If the situation was a full system restore situation, you obviously do not want to confirm every object on the system, so there should also be a way to disable the “restore to original location” check message. Possibly in the BRMS System or Backup policy.

There is an option to change the default library in the recovery policy (*RCY) to restore too and then this will be used anytime a user restores libraries via the WRKMEDIBRM or STRRCYBRM command....
