When you open the main Access Client Solutions it displays the “Working…” window so the user knows something is happening while they wait for ACS to start. But if you just open the Session Manager there is no indication that it is starting. As it takes several seconds to start ACS we have users clicking on Session Manager several times because they don't think it has worked the first time.
Session Manager needs to display something to indicate it is starting. Ideally this should be a nice start-up screen which could also apply to the main ACS startup, but just displaying the same “Working…” window would do.
Typically users have to wait 15-20secs for the Session Manager window to appear and they expect some more immediate indication that an application working.
These are real-life timings on PCs that reasonably modern (1 or 2 yrs old).

This support is available in the update delivered in June 2018.
I agree with this RFE, however, the load times presented here don't seem reasonable. I run the session manager every day, and my load times are like 3 to 5 seconds. In any event yes a pop up window would be good to show that something is actually happening.

Our next update will include a startup screen for Session Manager similar to starting the main product.
