Overide QMAXSIGN on user profile

Possibility to exclude singel user from QMAXSIGN system value.

Use Case:

Many users uses the same function (eg.FTP) with a common user profile (system user profile) IBM i. Sometimes one of the users logon with wrong password and accidenty disables the user profile and none of the other users can login while this problem is being discovered and solved.
I would suggest that we get a possibility to override the QMAXSIGN system value on a single userprofile.
This request does not ask that the user with wrong password should be allowed to log on. The request only suggests that the user does not get dissabled and that other users with correct password can continue to log in.

A Maximum sign-on attempts (MAXSIGN) parameter has been added to the Create User Profile (CRTUSRPRF) and Change User Profile (CHGUSRPRF) commands. The default value is *SYSVAL, which uses the maximum sign-on count from the QMAXSIGN system value. The parameter can be set to *SYSVAL or a value from 1 - 25. This will allow individual profiles to have more or less invalid sign on attempts than the QMAXSIGN system value has specified.

IBM agrees with the request and a solution appears to be feasible. IBM intends to provide a solution. However, IBM's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed.

Background: The CEAC members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT
