New command WRKSVRAUTE

We are increasingly using server authentication entries in our environment for managing DDM(IP) and DRDA authorisation of users between systems. Whilst we can display the entries for an individual user with DSPSVRAUTE or use the QSYS2.DRDA_AUTHENTICATION_ENTRY_INFO Db2 service to see the entries for all users it would be useful to have a WRKSVRAUTE USRPRF(xxx) command to provide the ability to work with the entries for the current, a single, generic* or *ALL users from the command line, with the options available to display, delete or add new entries.

Use Case:

WRKSVRAUTE USRPRF(*CURRENT)
WRKSVRAUTE USRPRF(SMITHJ)
WRKSVRAUTE USRPRF(DEV*)
WRKSVRAUTE USRPRF(*ALL)

The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed.

This functionality would give a good overview of who are enrolled in the network, it would be beneficial for BRMS network and must for DDM. It would also be useful in an audit.

Background: The CEAC members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT

@bjpj thanks for the suggestion, and yes I've used TAATOOLS at a previously company and they are quite comprehensive. However, this feels like an omission from the base OS which is probably worth addressing.

Very helpful tools here including your request. Well worth the cost of admission.
