Show Check Marks on "Error List" Severity Display Selections

(This is primarily cosmetic.)
When examining the Error List View, one can click "View Menu" > "Show Severity" and select which types of messages one chooses to view, toggling the display on or off for each of the five types listed. The "on" or "off" status of each level is indicated by a light-blue box around the symbol associated with each level, perhaps simulating a depressed button.

Using check marks to indicate current selections (as in other "View Menu" items such as "Automatically Remove") would make the choices much more clear, and would make this consistent with similar options.

Maybe I'm just getting old ;-) but it is difficult to discern the differences between states. Subtlety is OK, but a light-blue box on a gray background seems TOO subtle, especially at a (permissible and not uncommon) screen resolution that allows one to view 50 lines.

Use Case:

From an Error List, click the "View Menu" down-arrow and select "Show Severity". Click on any of the five types of errors listed to toggle a highlighted box around its symbol.

This RFE has been re-evaluated. Due to the relatively low number of votes, this RFE is now being declined.

We have reviewed this requirement and we feel it would be a beneficial enhancement to the product. We hope to be able to add it to our development plans in the future.
