This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

This does not sound like a Request For Enhancement. You are reporting issues with the existing support. You will be better served if you open a PMR and work with our Service team.
you should reopen this RFE, because:
your solution don't work.
When i change the Systemname to "Testing" and the IP at performance to xxx.xxx.xxx then sending a file with send... don't work.
The Systemname have to be lookable.
and one other problem:
when the systemname is an ip adress, the IP address looukup and the IP address field isn't inputable...
You first have to change the Systemname to a name.
please just expand the list with the systemdescription...
When selecting the Send... option for IFS, the send panel provides a list of Systems. The text being display for Host Name comes directly from the Systems Configurations "System Name" column. The "System Name" column can either be the name of a system which can be resolved via a DNS lookup, or it can be an IP address. The one you choose will be displayed in the IFS send panel.
If you must specify an IP address for the System Configuration, another option you have is to enter the IP address on the Connection tab in the Performance section. Specify an "IP address lookup frequency" of "Never - Specify IP Address". Now in the System Name column you can put whatever text you want because it will not be used for a DNS lookup. That same text will be displayed on the IFS send panel under the Host Name column.
