Port IBM NoSQL Wire Listener for DB2 to IBM i

With the IBM NoSQL Wire Listener for DB2 it is possible to use existing Applications that use MongoDB as their Database together with DB2 without changing the App.
It runs on all Versions of DB2 except the DB2 for i.

Use Case:

With the IBM NoSQL Wire Listener for DB2 on IBM i it will be possible to use existing Apps that use MongoDB (for example Node.js Apps or .NET Apps) immediatly with DB2 for IBM i without changing the App itself because the Wire Listener accepts and processes the MongoDB Wire Protocol.
With this developers and customers have a very good argument to use DB2 for i instead of MongoDB.

    IBM does not intend to provide a solution to this request at this time, so it is being closed.

    While it is a good idea, it has a low number of votes after 3 years. The database team has a long list of higher priority requirements, so this request is not likely to be implemented anytime soon.

    IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.
