The RFE has been closed. It is not likely that we would implement this request, but if you would like us to reconsider, you'll need to submit another RFE.
Sorry, my account was somehow set to an invalid email address so I didn't get notified of the comments on this. I have updated it for going forward.
I have tried pasting into TEXTPAD, UltraEdit as well. Nothing works. Haven't tried Word. I just tried it. Better than current format, for sure. Seems silly that we have to paste it to Word then copy/paste it again to something else though.
Short term work around, ok, I can see the Word option.
Long term, how about a preference choice for the text format in the RSS message format? HTML, Text, JSON, etc.
The RSS message area is copied as HTML. If you use an editor that can paste text as HTML formatted text, you will get the formatting as expected. Unfortunately, on Windows, neither notepad nor Wordpad have this capability. Microsoft Word is capable of this and the paste works as expected with all formatting. Is using a different editor an option for you?
