The information was provided to Service and the issue has been resolved. Please report future issues with the existing support to our Service team.
According to your service team, iAW (PDT print) can print the character, that is not on the printer device, because iAW can handle the character images from operating system (windows).
But ACS doesn't have handling the character images from operating system, so ACS (PDT print) can't print the character.
We want to print the character same as iAW (PDT print).
Please continue to work with our Service team on this issue. They will be collecting additional information needed to investigate the reported issue. When that investigation is complete, this RFE will be updated.
I have opened PMR, #26410,659,760.
The System value of CCSID is 1399 not 5026. We can input the character (ex. DEB9 "ℓ") from ACS display session and can see that character from ACS display session. But using ACS printer session ( PDT print) we can't print that character.
That character (DEB9) is out range of shift-JIS code set.
That's very strange for me.
The RFE process is for requesting enhancements. Defects should be reported by opening a PMR and working with our Service team. If you have already opened a PMR, please provide us with the number.
