Add "Selected characters count" to task bar in LPEX editors

When working on COBOL or even CLLE programs in the LPEX editor of RDp, it would be incredibly helpful when selecting text within the editor (highlighting it) to show the number of characters "selected" in the task bar (bottom line) of the editor. Most editors provide this feature and it is very helpful, especially when writing COBOL.


Use Case:

For example, when composing report lines in a COBOL program and keying literal values that should be printed, it is easier to key the literal text first, then highlight it to get its length and then set the size of the variable to the number of characters highlighted.
The only other way is to either count the characters or to copy and paste the string into another editor that does provide this feature in order to get an accurate length.

    Thank you for taking the time to submit your request. After careful consideration, we know that we cannot deliver your requested enhancement in the near term, so it is being declined. However, your request does align with the future strategy of our product and we believe it may have future value, so we will add it to an internal list for us to keep in mind for the future.
