Add option in Navigator for i Message Monitors

Requesting option to change permissions and ownership to modify existing message monitors. ACS monitors, once moved over from Client Access 7.1 Management Central, have no option to change the owner ship or modify permissions. The monitors are 'read-only' now and I am the only one who can modify them.

Use Case:

Message monitors are used to notify application on-call of errors in production and administrators of serious system errors.

A user that has *ALLOBJ authority can now manage any of the Monitors.

    Additionally,
If the user does not have the *ALLOBJ authority, he/she needs to be added into the QINAVMNTR authorization list(*ALL) and QPMCCFCN authorization list(*USE) before he/she can mange other's monitors like a user with *ALLOBJ authority.

If he/she wants to view the PDI/monitor charts from the monitors, he/she also needs to be added into QPMCCDATA authorization list(*USE) .

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a high priority requirement that is important to be addressed. Since this function was previously available, it should still be there.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

For more information about CAAC, see www.common.org/caac

    Hello,

Maybe it is also possible to add the option "New based on.." it would be a waste once working on this not to add that function.

    Greetings Rudi
