Navigator for i customize logon - welcome text

Add the ability to create a 'welcome text' or 'security display' when logging into the IBM Navigator for i web portal. IPaddress:2001/ibm/console/logon.jsp

This would consist of text only.


Use Case:

Security policy/text for users needs to be displayed when attempting to login to the system.

(a similar functionality is already implemented in to the Hardware Management Console web portal, they call it the 'welcome text')

    The new IBM Navigator for I interface has been delivered that does the Welcome page completely different. This suggestion does not apply with the new design.

    This requirement has been delivered as part of the new IBM Navigator for i GUI interface. Details on how to access and use this new interface can be found at: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6483299

    The support has been delivered on IBM i 7.3 & 7.4 and can be obtained by loading and installing the Latest HTTP PTF Group

    IBM i 7.3 - Group PTF SF99722 level 32 or higher
    IBM i 7.4 - Group PTF SF99662 level 13 or higher
