Have you tried using OpenSSH?
* You can save to Image Catalog and mount from a Linux serverusing SSHFS to your IBM , where you can read files and upload to any cloud storage or local NAS.
* You can save to SAVE FILES and create a CL to upload in parallel using FTP . If you need disaster recovery you can also create an OPTICAL Image Catalog to save a SAVSYS or Option 22 and upload this ISO to the FTP server.
* You can use ICC against an FTP Server or a MinIO server (Cloud gateway with S3 protocol)

What is the workflow of the expected use case? Mapping a drive to the FTP server and placing save files on the storage media from BRMS? Performing the save(s) to the IFS as save files then FTP'ing those to the FTP server?
FTP and BRMS doesn't go together since FTP is not a file system but just a protocol. And is not bootable
