In the ACS "Windows Setup" screen please make the OK Button the default action when pressing the enter key.
And while yer fixin that can you make it so that the "Window Setup" list is actually cleared? They live forever until ACS is restarted. See JPG attached.
I am not positive but this may be worse with tabs and I use a lot of tabs!! A whole LOTTA tabs.
In an ACS 5250 console session I use ALT-ESAW a LOT to get to the Window Title screen. Once there I hit tab thrice to get to the session name box and enter or edit the name there. So far so good. At no time did my fingers leave my hands. BUT Now it gets messy. I can:
tab tab tab tab tab tab tab tab (Puts focus on the "OK" button) and hit enter
-or-
SHIFT-tab tab tab tab tab tab, and hit enter
-or-
*sigh* move my hand off the keyboard, navigate the doohickey onto the OK button and click that. Then of course return my hand to the keyboard.
"OK" should be the default action on that critter and I can't conceive of a way that hurts anything.
Yes I know I could create 5250 console session for each partition but with 150+ partitions my dropdown list would be insane.

How about just adding shortcut keys to all the buttons so Alt+shortcut gets the job done like most Windows applications over the past 30 years? Within ACS, shortcut keys are kind of hit and miss through the entire application.
Attachment (Description): This is what happens when you use ALT-ESAW a lot and then hover over the ACS Session on the windows task-bar.
