BRMS Restore Functionality

In a BRMS networked environment, we'd like to see IFS directory restore offer the same functionality as native library restore, i.e. the ability to define a different restore to directory name on the target, then have the panel return to the previous screen, offering the F14-submit batch job functionality, so the process can be submitted using a profile that has stored SRVAUTe's predefined. Currently functionality is when the user defines the restore to directory name, and enter is pressed, the directory restore begins interactively, using the signed on session credentials to access the ‘saved from' partition via DDM/DRDA. This fails for us due to the user profile being employed DOES NOT have a stored SRVAUTe. Defining the session user's profile to have SRVAUTe violates security protocol

Use Case:

Deploying business code and business objects developed in lower environments to the front line production environments.

The BRMS team will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it. The BRMS team will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.
