Using Error List should highlight the item in error, not select

The "Error List" in RDi will position into the source if you double-click an error. When it positions it also selects the item in error.

Unfortunately, the "select" doesn't follow the same behavior as the standard LPEX editor "stream" block mode and regularly causes frustration and problems when the selected text area expands rather than disappears on a mouse-click.

The "find" tool enables the user to choose when the find result should be selected and/or highlighted. Can this same functionality be added to the error list results? If an error item is double-clicked the LPEX editor should highlight or select the item in error. (Would also be nice if the error item is selected then the selection should end when the mouse is clicked elsewhere in the LPEX source.)

Use Case:

Compile an RPGLE program (for eaxmple - same behavior for CL(LE) and (SQL)RPG(LE). Probably COBOL, too.)

If the program has errors then the error list is populated.

If you double-click an error, the source is positioned to the line in error and the item in error on the line is "selected".

If you click elsewhere in the source, or try to select a different area of text, the error item's selected area expands to include everything between your new click and the error item. Only "highlighting" the error item on double-click will prevent this frustration.

This RFE seems to address the same issue as RFE ID 45612:

This RFE is consistent with our strategy and product roadmap and IBM is continuing to evaluate.
