When using Show Statements window and I have a list of SQL statements from the plan cache, I used to have a pop up window showing the full statement of the one I am hovering over in iNav.
That does NOT happen when doing the same in ACS, SQL performance center, Show Statements.
I opened PMR 26797,122,000 to see if it was a bug or WAD. They said WAD but that it would be a fine RFE subject. So I am opening this RFE.
We have hundreds of sql statements that look very similar with the criteria way at the end of a very long statement. The pop up window of the full statement gave us a quick glance to see if it is the one we actually want before taking steps to view in VE or Show Longest Run or Work with Statement which gets more time consuming.
Right now, we have to open them, just to find it wasn't the one we really wanted, go to the next statement and repeat. Sometimes dozens of times. Or stretch the column over to the right multiple times to get the end of the statement criteria that is different.
