allow configuration of Hardware management interfaces via commandline in ACS

please add possibility to configure hardware management interfaces in ACS via commandline

Use Case:

We have a lot of IBM i systems in our system configuration list. Since ACS v1.1.8.2 it is possible to configure up to 6 hardware management interface items.
It would be great to configure those hardware management interfaces in an automated or scripted way (commandline) without the need to use GUI.

This support is available in version 1.1.9.5. See the CFG plugin in GettingStarted. To set default values, see the com.ibm.iaccess.hmiUrl.* properties in AcsConfig.properties.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. We understand the value of this RFE, but higher priority items have taken precedence. We are keeping this on our list for consideration in the near future.

IBM understands this request and will consider it for a future code update, though no commitment is made or implied.

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.

    Hi,
    I know about backup/restore functions.
But my question was more about a command line way to configure Hardware Management Interfaces (with newest ACS version you can have up to 6 interfaces like "Web Administration for i", "DCM", "Copy Services Manager for i" and many more.
All of them require specification of http or https, IP address or host name, most of all a port number and a URL.e.g.
http://as400:2001/HTTPAdmin for "Web Administration for i"
I would be great to have a possibility to configure those management interfaces via commandline. Example:
    java -jar acsbundle.jar /plugin=cfg /webadmin /hmi1=http://as400:2001/HTTPAdmin
    java -jar acsbundle.jar /plugin=cfg /dcm /hmi2=http://as400:2001/QIBM/ICSS/Cert/Admin/qycucm1.ndm/main0

Configuration updates can already be automated using the command line plugins Backup and Restore. See GettingStarted sections 9.1.1 Backup and 9.1.2 Restore. You can use those to update existing configurations either partially or in their entirety depending on what is configured at the time of the export/Backup. So you could have a saved export of one system or several. Another way to automatically propagate configuration settings is outlined in GettingStarted section 9.4.1 Automatically import configuration settings. Using those options will create a configuration if it does not exist or will update an existing configuration. Does that meet the requirement?
