IWS web service transaction level logging

IWS does not have the ability to log web services requests and responses. These metrics are critical to be able to capture, measure, monitor and report on the throughput and response times and general health of a web service.


Use Case:

To be able to properly support a critical application in a production environment, the ability to capture throughput and response time metrics are critical.

    IBM agrees with the request and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible. IBM intends to provide a solution. However, IBM's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

    You can front-end an IWS server with an Apache server (which I would suggest anyway).
