iACS Printer Output-Option to not respect page range

IBM i Access Client Solutions (iACS) Printer Output currently enforces the page range set on the spooled file on the server when viewing/downloading spooled files. We use the page range specifically for printing, often saving the spooled file for future review. When viewing the spooled file, we need to see the entire spooled file.

It would be a great benefit if there was an option in iACS to disable the default page range behavior. This would emulate the behavior of the 5250 WRKSPLF command.

Use Case:

I printed the last page of a report to get the bottom-line totals, saving the spooled file after printing. I still needed to review the entire contents, but could not do so until I changed the page range.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. Due to a low vote count, this RFE is being Declined.

IBM understands this request and will consider it for a future code update, though no commitment is made or implied.

IBM has received this requirement and is evaluating it. A response will be provided when evaluation is complete.

Rather than adding the ability to disable the page range, would it be helpful to add the ability to change the page range as needed? I don't think this should be an all or nothing type change.

I would like to see an option like a button "View entire spool file" when there is a page range that is not the entire spool file. This would be the best of both worlds.
