Hide Rule Cursor in inactive sessions.

The behavior for the Rule cursor on display sessions was changed some time between 1.1.7.1 and 1.1.8.2. In 1.1.7.1 the rule cursor is only shown on the display sessions that has focus in Windows, in 1.1.8.2 it is shown on every session. According to support this change was intentional. This RFE is to add a switch to choose what behavior is required.

Use Case:

Create multiple display sessions. Set each to display a rule cursor. Arrange sessions so that they are all visible on the monitor(s).

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. After evaluating your submission, the decision was made to decline this request. The "Rule Line" is not a cursor. It can be set to either follow the cursor or not. The behavior change made to show the "Rule Line" even when the session is inactive fixes a reported bug and now matches the behavior of the emulator in our legacy product IBM i Access for Windows. We have no plans to make the "Rule Line" a replacement for the cursor. You may find it helpful to change the cursor to a block cursor to more quickly identify the active window.

IBM understands this request and will consider it for a future code update, though no commitment is made or implied.
