CGI Job User Based Library List

Make it possible to set the library list of a CGI job based on the authorized users job description

Use Case:

The CGI Library List setup in an HTTP Server on IBM i could be more flexible and more in line with how other IBM i jobs are setup.
This using the users job description and the library list defined there. With this no less hardcoding is needed and the setup becomes more flexible when controlling environment etc.

Below is an example of how the setup of a CGI jobs library list must be done today.

ScriptAliasMatch /csc2019/web(.*) /qsys.lib/mylib.lib/web$1

<Directory /qsys.lib/mylib.lib>
SetEnv QIBM_CGI_LIBRARY_LIST ”MYLIB;WEBSRVUTL;YAJL"
AuthType Basic
AuthName "IBMi"
Require valid-user
PasswdFile %%SYSTEM%%
UserID %%CLIENT%%
</Directory>

    The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a low priority requirement that should be addressed. Although there are ways to make this work, it would be helpful if it were easier.

    Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

    The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.

    To be able to set a CGI job environment more in line with how "normal" ILE jobs are controlled. ie with user profiles and job descriptions. An added benefit would also be better security, allowing users to be locked to a specific environment from the moment they connect.
