for the APAR SE71873 - DCM GUI UPDATE

please provide the V7.3 related PTFs.

I have the V7.4 version, but still have 40 + lpars that could use this updated interface


Use Case:

V7.3 is still supported and could use the same update to the DCM GUI that was provided for V7.4

    IBM believes that the request described has been solved and is available with a set of IBM i 7.3 PTFs. See https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6172821 for the PTF numbers and other related information.

    IBM agrees with the request and a solution appears to be desirable and feasible. IBM intends to provide a solution. However, IBM's plans may change and no commitment is made that a solution will be provided.

    IBM has received the requirement and is evaluating it. IBM will provide a response after evaluation is complete.

    I appreciate that you like the new DCM interface enough to request it be brought back to IBM i 7.3.
    But at this time, there are no plans to bring that interface back to prior releases.

    Note that the old DCM interface is still available on IBM i 7.4 so you do have a consistent certificate management interface on both IBM i 7.3 and IBM i 7.4 to meet your business justification.
