Port Folding@home to be Used on Power specifically the IBM i.

Use Case:

Folding@home allows anyone to donate computer resources to help run simulations of protein dynamics which can bring insights into the development of therapeutics.

At the time of submission Folding@home is focusing on COVID-19. Allowing Folding@home to run on Power will allow corporate citizens to donate extra compute resources to fighting COVID-19 and other serious diseases.

    Unfortunately, there are no plans to deliver this within the next 12 months

    IBM is currently supporting World Community Grid.
    But unfortunately IBM i is not a part of the software portfolio.
    Might be an idea to port to this platform to.
