IBM i Services (sql) related to hardware

There are a lot of IBM i Services (sql) as tables, views or table functions. They covered almost every part of operating system (powerHA last time), but still there is no such services related to IBM i operating system hardware. Good to have table or function with status of devices, tape libraries, controllers etc. Most of the information which comes from DSPHDWRSC, WRKMLBSTS etc

    The request as written is too vague for IBM to implement. This request does not mention which information you are most interested in seeing. For example, there are many options on DSPHDWRSC. Which option do you have the greatest need for and how would you use the information?

    Please open one or more specific requests that IBM can address. We need to understand exactly what you are asking for so we can invest in the topics with the most value to the IBM i community.

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed.

    Having an IBM i service which enables you to check the health of IBM i, will help to improve the ability to jeep IBM i healthily.

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
