The CRTPGM issues error CWX9001 at binding time when the allocated memory for a procedure exceeds its limits. However the RDi Error List tab uses the EVFEVENT file to display the compilation results, but the binding fails and object is not created. It is necessary to check the spool file to find out the source of the issue.
Defining a local procedure variables with a total memory exceeding 16MB, i.e., regular storage model default (not using *TERASPACE) :
DCL-S LocClobText1 SQLTYPE(Clob: 16000000);
DCL-S LocClobText 2 SQLTYPE(Clob: 16000000);
will compile but the object creation fails.

What is the command you are issuing when the CWX9001 message is generated and ends up in the job log but not the event file, CRTRPGMOD or CRTSQLRPGI or something else?
The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a HIGH priority requirement that is important to address.
With this feature would enhance useability for developers by having all error messages in one view.
Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT

It is a great RFE and I would like to add the same feature for CRTSRVPGM and for the UPDxxx as well. It is a great pain that the bind process if not attached to the event file.
Attachment (Use case): Error report when the program object creation fails.
