IBM Power Ideas Portal

This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. Shape the future of IBM!

We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:

Search existing ideas

Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,

Post your ideas
  1. Post an idea.

  2. Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.

  3. Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

List Exit Programs via an SQL statement by Categories

Allow SQL statement to query all Exit Programs by TCPiP Categories and Ports:

- FTP (tcp 21)
- TELNET (tcp 23 & 992)
- CIFS (tcp 445)
- etc

Use Case:

We run VMWare NSX in our environment only allowing necessary ports opened for connections to our IBM i.

We would like to apply some exit program monitoring based on the open ports. It would be great to get a report of all exit programs that are tired directly in with the TCP categories.

BM will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it. IBM will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.
