ACS - Warning should be given to the user logging in if CAPS LOCK is activated

If CAPS LOCK is activated I would like to have a warning in the window where you give the user ID and password just like it is done in Windows. I assume that it is not possible in the 5250 screen but at least the small GUI window should do it.

Use Case:

Warning given to the user that CAPS LOCK is activated in order to avoid the user profile to be deactivated because of wrong password.

The user id is not case sensitive so the warning is not needed until you start typing the password. Based on your description, it sounds like it is working as designed. If you believe there is an issue with our support, please contact our Service team. If you would like an additional enhancement, you may open another RFE.

Sorry to tell you but it doesn't work correct.

If I have activated Caps Lock before starting ACS for the first time then it is not shown that it is active.
Sometimes I can type the user ID and nothing is shown.
Sometimes I even have started typing the password before it is shown that Caps Lock is activated.

IMHO the warning should be shown the moment the screen prompting for user ID and password is displayed.
And the warning should be shown with a yellow background instead of a white so the user is aware of it.
