Apache Client Certificate authentication when using proxy
We need to have Client Certificate Authentication (mTLS) on the Apache server in the proxy settings. According to your support as described in the Support case ID it's not possible.
We need to have Client Certificate Authentication (called mTLS) in order for to make sure only specific clients can access/use WEB services served on the IceBreak server from System & Metode. IceBreak doesn't support mTLS, so we tried to use mTLS on the Apache server and then proxy to IceBreak. But this is not supported in Apache for IBM i. According to our Head Quarter this is possible on Unix using these directives for valid Client Certificates: SSLCACertificateFile/Path-to-be-modify-with-your-path/RapidSSLRSACA2018.cer SSLCertificateChainFile /Path-to-be-modify-with-your-path/DigiCertGlobalRootCA.cer SSLCertificateFile /Path-to-be-modify-with-your-path/customerportal.fgacapital.dk.cer SSLCertificateKeyFile /Path-to-be-modify-with-your-path/customerportal.fgacapital.dk.key SSLCipherSuite ALL:!aNULL:RC4+RSA:+HIGH:+MEDIUM:+LOW:+EXP:+eNUL
