RELATED IDEAS

Filtering source files and source file members in the i Project

We would like to be able to filter on source files and source file members within the i Project. As RDi is supposed to be a replacement for PDM this is a loss of feature.


Use Case:

We are using RDi in combination with SVN so our aim is to remove source from the iSeries and only rely on checkout from the repository. However we can not check out single source members; the minimum is a complete source file which may have thousands of members. Rather than have to scroll through these members we would like to be able to select a subset source file members and member types. We would also like to subset on source files themselves.

    This RFE is a duplicate of another RFE. Please see RFE26470: Possibility to create (source-)filters in iProjects (like in RSE) and RFE25696: Cannot filter member in iProject explorer for current status.
