This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. When in the LPEX editor, there is an outline view that shows lists of fields, indicators, etc., when in an RPG source member. This is an excellent pane of information. However, we are not finding an indicator list when working on a DDS source member ? in particular, a DSPF or PRTF. It seems perfectly reasonable to us that these members would also contain an indicator list. For the most part, the only reason we use indicators in an RPG program is for communication with a display or printer file. So, why not have this same list available when working on a DSPF or PRTF source member? Preferably, this indicator view would be available at the file level, as well as at a record format level.
We have utilities we have written for the green screen that shows used and unused indicators for a DSPF or PRTF; we don't have to look at a compile listing in green screen/PDM to see indicator usage. These would become unnecessary if supplied via RDi Outline View.

I hope you will fix this soon with the indicators.
it would also be a big help if you could show the dimensions of the fields.
For example (6:2) for a numeric field with 6 digits with 2 decimal positions.
Or (30) for a text field with a length of 30 characters.
This RFE was closed in error and was not delivered. And it's open again.
The indicators in the DDS source are not shown in the outline.
And I can't find any reference in the fix list for 9.6.0.8.
