Comment block of code in CLLE and OPM programs

It would be nice to have same functionality as is in RPG and COBOL ILE programs to comment/uncomment block of code with shortcut Ctrl+/, also in OPM programs in ILE CL.


Use Case:

User select a few lines of code in ILE CL or OPM COBOL and RPG a then via shortcut Ctrl-/ this code will be commented/uncommented.

    This feature is now available in the IBM Rational Developer for i V9.5 product with V9.5.1 update installed.
    To comment all lines containing the current selection, press Ctrl + /. To uncomment all lines containing the current selection, press Ctrl + \.
    There is also the following preference associated with the comment behaviour. To modify this preference, open Window -> Preferences. Go to Remote Systems -> Remote System LPEX Editor -> IBM i Parsers -> DDS. Click on the radio button Overwrite blanks in column 7 with *. The default is to "Insert * into column 7 and shift line by one column".

    We will deliver block commenting for ILE CL with this RFE. Please open another RFE if you wish to have this supported for OPM.
