GO SAVE 21,22,23 display improvement

GO SAVE options 20 and 21 display a screen to enter the tape device, etc. I believe option 22 uses the same screen. It appears all 3 options use the same display. Please display on that screen the actual option / option description chosen on the menu. When we arrive at that screen it would confirm that we have chosen the correct option for the desired save.


Use Case:

For a Cumulative install or IBM i upgrade we perform GO SAVE option 21 followed by option 22 to have saves adequate for recovery. After the install/upgrade we perform 2 x option 22 so we have SAVSYS type saves adequate for recovery. Would appreciate confirmation of which option was chosen to prevent a mistake.

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a “nice to have” LOW priority feature.

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
