When selecting an option from IBM i Access Client Solutions Main Window (i.e. Integrated File System) the selection opens a window minimized instead of bringing it to the front (aka Focus).


Use Case:

When selecting the option i have many times click it more than once thinking that i did not click it. This has opened several hidden instances.

    This support is now available in version 1.1.8.7 dated April 2021.

    If the IFS or Printer Output windows were minimized when they were last exited, they will start minimized. An update has been made so they will not start in the minimized state. This will be available in our next update.

    This behavior would be considered a defect. Please open a case with our Service team. They will work with you on gathering the necessary information needed to isolate the issue.

    I would have classed that as a bug not an enhancement; unless IBM are playing the "working as designed" card.
