Keep multi-line DCL-S lines together when sorting

The "sort" command does not take into account DCL-S code spanning mutliple lines even though we have to key the semi-colon as the line end marker. Unlike the previous D-specs in fixed form it "seems" like it should be easier to determine ALL the definition features of the DCL-S even if they wrap onto multiple lines.

Use Case:

We are converting fixed form code to fully free form and some code has multi-line definitions. Sorting the DCL-S source does help quickly scan code to find the position a new DCL-S items should be inserted.

Thank you for taking the time to suggest this enhancement to our product. Many of our product enhancements result from feedback from our customers, so your input is always very important to us.
You should be able to find the position as you describe it by using the Outline view. The Outline view can be sorted, then clicking on the entry that you want to position at will place the cursor there in the editor.
Although we can see the value of your requested enhancement, with competing priorities and the workaround of using the Outline view we do not have plans to address this request over the next 18 months. If after 18 months, this continues to be important for you business needs, please feel free to resubmit for reconsideration.

A preliminary evaluation of this request indicates that it is consistent with our business strategy. Further evaluation of this RFE is underway.
