This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. This is something we have previously given consideration to and have made the decision to not provide this support. If there are specific enhancements you would like to have to existing plugins, please submit a separate RFE for each enhancement.
Rudi:
What I'm requesting is a framework for 3rd party developers to create add-on's to iACS so we can extend IFS functions, emulation functionality, RSS, and Schemas.
The existing 'plug-ins' provide the existing functionality. Plus, any plug-in functionality is not documented.

Hello David,
When opening ACS and going to the Help menu and selecting the "Getting Started" option. The browser will bring you to a document. I wonder if you did have a look there and did scan for "plugin". If you do so you will see that there is a wide variety of plugin functions already available.
The question is: Did you already have a look at them and the second question is, do they fill your need?
Greeting Rudi.
