Saving Macros in LPEX Editor

Hello,
i am missing a functionality in the LPEX Editor. I often use the macro recording function to make changes i my code. This is a very cool feature because it is very simple to use. But in some cases i would wish to save a recorded sequence and use it again later.
Maybe this could be a feature for a future release?
My idea for implementation of this feature is the following:
The two buttons for recording and playing should keep their functionality by normal clicking. But if i press the "stop recording" button longer then the system should ask for a macro name. A similar behavior should have the play button. A normal click should play the latest macro. A longer click should open a selection list where i could select a saved macro.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your request. After careful consideration, we know that we cannot deliver your requested enhancement in the near term, so it is being declined. However, your request does align with the future strategy of our product and we believe it may have future value, so we will add it to an internal list for us to keep in mind for the future.

Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
    Product family - Programming Languages
Product - Developer for Power Systems

For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
    Brand - Rational
Product family - Design & development
Product - Developer for Power Systems

The saved macros could be part of a drop down and have an "Organize favorites" feature similar to the Code Coverage buttons.

Although the theme of this request is consistent with our business strategy, it is not committed to the release that is currently under development.
