Improve performance when filtering QSYS2.OUTPUT_QUEUE_ENTRIES_BASIC (or QSYS2.OUTPUT_QUEUE_ENTRIES) using only a qualified job name. If compared with QGYOLSPL Api both views are very slow.

    IBM believes that the request described has been solved and is available with IBM i 7.5, and with DB PTF Groups IBM i 7.4 SF99704 Level 20 and IBM i 7.3 SF99703 Level 28.

    A new table function, QSYS2.SPOOLED_FILE_INFO can filter on several criteria including job name.

    The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed.

    Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.
