Allow .PNG image objects to be printed using AFPRSC keyword

The current default for most image create applications is .PNG. It would be most helpful that we can use the default .PNG files that our web developers utilize

Use Case:

Currently we convert the .PNG file to .JPG.

I also need this with HPT - unfortunately, I did not explain well enough that I have that requirement. IPDS is not enough for us, since we have many HP-compatible printers. Our workaround is converting the PNG to GIF, but we REALLY should not need to do that - PNG support has been around AFP for many years now, it's about time to get it in HPT.

On the IBM i, Host Print Transform (HPT) only supports TIFF, JPEG and GIF images. HPT does not support PNG images.
If the AFPRSC keyword is used to include a PNG image (component ID 65) or PDF in the spooled file, the file must be printed to an IPDS printer that has support to print the image, or another transform, to print it.

The AFPRSC keyword can already be used to include PNG image format resources.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

For more information about CAAC, see www.common.org/caac

For more details about CAAC's role with RFEs, see http://www.ibmsystemsmag.com/Blogs/i-Can/May-2017/COMMON-Americas-Advisory-Council-%28CAAC%29-and-RFEs/
