Adding Items to BRMS Control Group

When adding an item to a BRMS control group, the new item goes to the bottom of the list. I then have to select the item and click the Move Up button. If I've got 25 items in my control group I have to hit a button about 20 times if I want to insert an item near the top.

This was moved from the CAAC database.

Use Case:

Adding items to BRMS Control Group

The BRMS wiki has added a GUI Tips and Techniques page with an example of how to move multiple entries in a list. Please reference the following link for more information: https://helpsystemswiki.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/IWT/pages/1357676555/List+Ordering+with+the+BRMS+GUI

The BRMS team does not intend to provide a solution to this request at this time, so it is being closed. The current interface using the Move Up and Move Down buttons provides the ability to move a group of items. After an item is added to the end of the list, to insert it 25 positions up you can select the 25 items above it and use the Move Down button. Given that this is a low priority and the Move buttons provide the ability to move a group of items, this request is not a high enough priority to implement at this time.

This is still on the BRMS team backlog list, the community can continue to vote to influence priority.

The BRMS team will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. This request will be updated in the future if IBM implements it. The BRMS team will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed. Although this does not happen every day, it would be very nice to insert things anywhere to when creating a control group.
