High risk in IFS file system management

The Actions | Delete command within the Navigator for I web-based IFS interface allows the user to purge the entire contents of the folder they are viewing if no objects are selected. I've attached a PMR number under which we recovered from this very issue.

I would recommend the present working directory not be subject to the same actions as the contents so as to differentiate from a harmless and devastating command.

Use Case:

Users who don't have any file system objects selected in Navigator shouldn't be presented with commands in the Actions window which would affect the parent folder.

When deleting a folder in IBM Navigator for i > IFS, a warning dialog will be displayed to make user more aware of implications of delete actions. This was delivered with the 2023 Q1 PTFs https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/6520030/

Does this request affect the removal of root directories on the IFS file system?
