This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

Changing our software to exploit Teraspace we encountered a build failure where the error message reported was: Compile option TERASPACE specified twice.
We were using the CRTSQLCI command and specified TERASPACE only once via the COMPILEOPT parameter string.
It transpires through raising a PMR with IBM that if the size of the LOB variables approaches 15Mb the pre-compiler will add the TERASPACE parameter to the compile command on the subsequent CRTCMOD command.
First suggestion is that the pre-compiler checks for the existence of the TERASPACE, and possible others that may be added "under the covers", BEFORE adding the parameter values to the CRTCMOD command.
Second suggestion is that the error message be more specific as to why TERASPACE has been added, probably a warning message now if the first suggestion is taken on board.
Better error reporting will result in less time spent trying to get to the root cause of the error reported.
In order to resolve this issue I had to raise a PMR with IBM support and go through various email exchanges over several days, thus delaying the delivery of the software to our QA team.
