Add IBM i Services to return a list of active watches as well as the information about those watches

There is the WRKWCH command as well as the Retrieve Watch Information (QSCRWCHI) and Retrieve Watch List (QSCRWCHL) APIs.

This RFE is requesting IBM i Services to provide this information.

Use Case:

I want to ensure my watches are active; I really like the IBM i Services and having an IBM i service to return information about watches would make it easier to programmatically access this information.

The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a medium priority requirement that should be addressed. Watches are fantastic and should be more widely used -- implementing this RFE would help foster adoption of watches.

Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

    Product - IBM i
    Component - Core OS
    Operating system - IBM i
    Source - COMMON

Hi Dawn, just for fun, I wrote a WATCHLIST() UDTF this week. It returns a lot of info, but not 100% since the number of messages it can monitor is variable, I only return the first one. But most of the Watch status information is returned. You can get it in our iQuery tool here: www.SQLiQuery.com

All the necessary API's exist so you could easily write it yourself (or ask someone else).

It's a bit stupid to waste IBM resources on this in my opinion.
