Command WRKMLMBRM fails if there are more than 9999 volumes

Command WRKMLMBRM fails if there are more than 9999 volumes.
We have 12.000 volumes and counting.
The workaround is to specify a parameter like VOL, CGY, BRMVOL, MEDCLS... to stay under 10.000.
Could you increase the max limit?

The BRMS team believes that the request described is solved by using the 'Position to' parameter interface on the WRKMLMBRM display which is already available. The 9999 limit exceeded message is an informational message, and it does not fail the command. The 'Position to' parameter rebuilds the display information for an additional 9999 volumes without having to filter the command. The BRMS team believes this approach is better than paging through lists greater than 9999 and addresses this request, so this is being marked as delivered.

The BRMS team needs more information to further assess your Request for Enhancement. The 9999 is a system limitation for the number of records allowed in a subfile. There are different approaches to address this. The BRMS team would like to propose that we implement a solution that when more than 9999 volumes are available that BRMS would no longer fail the command, but show the first 9999 volumes. Since we doubt anyone would page down to the bottom of the list, when the Position to selection is used, the subfile would be rebuilt starting at the Position to entry for an addition 9999 volumes again. If the F5 - refresh was used, the list would be rebuilt from the top again. With this new behavior, BRMS would allow the command to work and use the Position to field to show additional volumes beyond the first 9999 without having to exit the interface. Would this be an acceptable solution for this Request for Enhancement.

The BRMS team will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. The request will be updated in the future if the request is implemented. The BRMS team will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.
