Adding Additional User Information to the BRMS Recovery Report is a great way to get customer or system specific information into the recovery report

However, there is a need for a few enhancement in this area.

The added user information for a step are added last for the specified step.
There are occasions where you actually want the information to be read before starting a specific recovery step, having it last could result that the recovery step is carried out before the important information have been read.
It would be great if you could choose if the information should be added first or last for a specified step.

Proposed solution: Have two members for each recovery step/action. One for adding user information at the top of the recovery step and the other for adding text at the bottom of the step.


Use Case:

Flexibility to choose if you want the user added recovery information first, last or both per step.

    This Idea did not make the plan cut and is highly unlikely to become part of the future plans so it is being declined. Since the current implementation is known to be at the bottom of a step, if the new information is required beforehand it can be added to the previous step.

    The BRMS team will use this request as input to planning but no commitment is made or implied. The request will be updated in the future if the request is implemented. The BRMS team will use votes and comments from others in the community to help prioritize this request.
