This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

RDP 9.1.
The cursor progression in the "Find/Replace" dialog has changed from previous releases. After entering a search value, the <Tab> key moves focus to the first checkbox option ("Case sensitive") rather than to the "Next" button. (So, no longer do four <Tab>s put you into the "Replace" box.)
If this was a deliberate design change, then I'd ask for reconsideration. If a change in the cursor progression from previous releases is intended, I'd suggest that the first <Tab> from the "Find" box position the cursor to the "Replace" box; perhaps the next <Tab> could go to the "Case sensitive" checkbox.
Instituting a need to frequently back-tab (<Shift>-<Tab>) Seems regressive.
An additional observation: If the "Restrict search to columns" checkbox is selected, the cursor progression from "End column" is back to "Find", and the circuit repeats; the "Next", "Previous", "All", "Replace", and "Replace all" buttons, as well as the "Replace" text box, are ALL bypassed!
In an editor window, open the "Find" dialog (<Ctrl>-F). The cursor should be in the "Find" text box. Press <Tab>. The cursor moves to the "Case sensitive" checkbox.

It's a pity that bug-reporting must originate with customers, despite an issue being brought to IBM's attention -- if this is indeed the case. I'm not our company's "APAR-submitting" contact, so I won't be taking this any further.
This request for enhancement has been deemed a defect in our product. Please contact Rational Customer Support to file an APAR.
