Show active NWSD jobs that have an NWSSTG space in an IASP under the WRKASPJOB command

If an active Network Server Description (NWSD) has a linked Network Server Storage space (NWSSTG) in an available IASP, attempting to vary off the IASP or perform a PowerHA switch will fail with CPAB8E6 'device xxx cannot be varied off at this time'. The message text says to check for jobs using the IASP, however the WRKASPJOB command does not show any active job, nor does a WRKOBJLCK <IASPname>.

Use Case:

PowerHA combined with i-hosting-i can be used as an effective DR solution for small clients. In this scenario, a hosted production partition would have all the NWSSTG contained in an IASP. The NWSD would be active on the Host partition. Running the WRKASPJOB command on the host does not show any active IASP jobs, although the storage spaces are in fact 'active'.

I thought I added a detailed description of how to create this issue on 10/31, but it does not show here in the comments. Please let me know if it was received and just not added yet. Or I will re-enter it.
I can demonstrate the issue on one of our systems.

We are not able to reproduce this behavior in the lab. Have you contacted IBM Support for this issue, and if so, do you have a Case number that we could review?
