Allow Save as New Example to replace existing Example

I often find the need to replace a custom SQL Example I created with corrected or improved SQL, however Save as New Example is the only option and if you attempt to save as an existing example you get an already exists message. Either change this error popup to a query, do you want to replace?, or add a new Replace Existing Example option.

Use Case:

Allowing Modification of an existing SQL Example rather than creating My Example v1, My Example V2 etc etc.

The CEAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM view this as a MEDIUM priority requirement that should be addressed. This function would greatly enhance the usability of Examples by allowing for iteration and enhancemnt of existing Examples. We voted medium as there is workaround via editing script files.

Background: The COMMON Europe Advisory Council (CEAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CEAC has a crucial role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

To find out how CEAC help to shape the future of IBM i, see CEAC @ ibm.biz/BdYSYj and the article "The Five Hottest IBM i RFEs Of The Quarter" at ibm.biz/BdYSZT

I did find a workaround of sorts, I'll try to describe it - it is possible to save the examples using the Save option to the local PC, into the directory where the examples live. Not as convenient but not bad either.

Run SQL scripts (RSS) allows you to add examples yourself. We live in a dynamic world and in some case you want to update an existing example within RSS. That option is currently not available within RSS. Use Case: Since the introduction of DB2 fo...
