About the character code on ? of ACS version 1.1.8.4 or later

Due to the RFE 132374 "ACS --Enable to input ¥ view" Yen "and" Backslash "at the same time", the character code of ¥ on ACS (version 1.1.8.4 or later) is now x'B2'.
Clients often use ¥ at the beginning of commands, so the commands that include ¥ cannot execute correctly, making it difficult to use commands.
There are two type of versions (version1.1.8.3 & version1.1.8.4)of ACS my clients are using.
The problem now is if they create a command that includes ¥ in one type of version of ACS, it cannot be execute in another type of version.
In order to execute commands that include ¥ correctly, I need your help with returning the character code of ¥ to x'5B'by changing the keyboard mapping.
Since there are hundreds of PCs with version1.1.8.4 which need to be modified,
I would like to ask for a easy solution that could return the character code of ¥ to x'5B'specification. Hope to hear from you as soon as possible.

Use Case:

Scenerio:
When using the command, follow the steps below.
1.Make the command that include ¥ on ACS (version 1.1.8.3/version 1.1.8.4).
2.Enter the command with ¥ on ACS(version 1.1.8.4/version 1.1.8.3).
3.The commands that include ¥ cannot execute correctly on ACS(version 1.1.8.4/version 1.1.8.3).

Thank you for submitting your Request For Enhancement. We understand the issue. As you know, RFE 132374 requested the current behavior which also matches the behavior of other Windows applications. Unfortunately, the only solution we have to offer is to remap the keyboard so it produces the expected character.

IBM i has continued enhancing a lot of functions over 30 years. Until now, IBM i added new functions as optional first, and then changed the default to the added functions when most of users don't use the original default value. The users need much time to accept the change on the default ie 1 year or longer. So, IBM must change back the default value to the Yes sign instead of backslash first and the backslash should be added as optional. And then users need to change the settings to use backslash. This way is for the standard IBM i enhancements to reduce the impacts on most of users.
