This portal is to open public enhancement requests against IBM Power Systems products, including IBM i. To view all of your ideas submitted to IBM, create and manage groups of Ideas, or create an idea explicitly set to be either visible by all (public) or visible only to you and IBM (private), use the IBM Unified Ideas Portal (https://ideas.ibm.com).
We invite you to shape the future of IBM, including product roadmaps, by submitting ideas that matter to you the most. Here's how it works:
Start by searching and reviewing ideas and requests to enhance a product or service. Take a look at ideas others have posted, and add a comment, vote, or subscribe to updates on them if they matter to you. If you can't find what you are looking for,
Post an idea.
Get feedback from the IBM team and other customers to refine your idea.
Follow the idea through the IBM Ideas process.

IBM i has a continuous performance data collector tool named Collection Services.
The CAAC has reviewed this requirement and recommends that IBM not implement this request. As described in earlier comments, continuous statistics are already available.
Background: The COMMON Americas Advisory Council (CAAC) members have a broad range of experience in working with small and medium-sized IBM i customers. CAAC has a key role in working with IBM i development to help assess the value and impact of individual RFEs on the broader IBM i community, and has therefore reviewed your RFE.

Hi Sandeep. I need more information about what exactly you are looking for. I am not familiar with the Z products you mentioned.
IBM i does have a continuous performance data collector tool - named Collection Services - and the performance data can be stored in database files that can be queried.
You can find out more about Collection Services here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzahx/rzahxcollectdatacs.htm
You can find out more about the Collection Services database files here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzahx/rzahxperfdatafiles1.htm
There are also many many IBM i Services that may return the information you are looking for.
You can find more about IBM i Services here: https://www.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/en/ssw_ibm_i_74/rzajq/rzajqservicessys.htm
Due to processing by IBM, this request was reassigned to have the following updated attributes:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Power Systems
Product - IBM i
Component - Performance Tools
Operating system - IBM i
Source - Client
For recording keeping, the previous attributes were:
Brand - Servers and Systems Software
Product family - Power Systems
Product - IBM i
Component - IBM i Access Family
Operating system - IBM i
Source - Client
Also, collection services continuously collects a wealth of system and performance data. You can view this data with the performance data investigator.
Hi Sandeep
I'm not familar with IZPCA so can't say how good a match this will be for you but in general the sort of performance, work management and system health information you are asking for is available in real-time from an IBM i System, if you wanted to reach in and get it then the best way is to use IBM i Services, these standard SQL interfaces were designed to allow such data to be access in this way.
The link below will give you details of the services available and explanations of the their syntax and example SQL statements that you can build upon. I would recommend you start with the IBM i Work Management Service and then maybe the System Limits.

If you want to know more about IBM i Services, then Google is your friend, I along with many others have publish articles and Webinars on this which I'm sure will help. If I had to pick one place for you to start it would be Scott Forstie's SQL Tutor

If at the end of this you find the specific metric or metrics you require are not currently available, please add them into this RFE, as the more specific you are about the need, the more likely IBM (or one of us) will be able to help you.
Best wishes,
Steve Bradshaw
